Card Holder Pocket

I posted a tutorial for the inserted zipper with pocket, so I thought I would also show you how to make the Card Holder Pocket.

Cut four pieces of fabric, all 5" wide:  one 8", one 7", one 6" and one 5".

Press in half, wrong sides together, the 7” x 5”, the 6” x 5”, and the 5” x 5” pocket pieces so that they all still are 5” wide.  Place on top of the 8” x 5” pocket piece, matching lower raw edges. 

 Bring the top of the 8” x 5” pocket piece down to meet the bottom edges, completely enclosing all pockets.  

Sew with ¼” seam allowance down each side and across the bottom, leaving a 1 ½” opening in the bottom for turning.  Turn right side out.  Tuck in raw edges of bottom opening and press.

Card Holder Pocket now ready to sew on to bag.  Sew down one side, across the bottom, and up the other side.  

Pretty darn easy.
